Once a derelict verge, the Bristol Road Corner has been adopted by Gryphon School pupils and planted with decorative tubs. This has made a tremendous difference to this corner of the town, which is conspicuously on view to motor traffic both in and out of the town.
And, around the corner, on the road-side verge, the pupils have planted trees which make good use of some otherwise unused land:
