The Digby Road bus stop is a very busy bus pick-up and set-down spot in the centre of Sherborne.
Because of the trees the site is in the shade and it can difficult to plant with traditional plants. But for the past few years the pupils of Gryphon School have adopted this plot and come up with a very practical solution to making the site look attractive and tended:
Because the ground is poor they have covered it with tree bark and planted where they can some hardy plant beds surrounded by local stone.
This is a great solution for a busy bus stop in this central part of town. Well done, the Gryphon gardeners!
