Winter

This time of year it’s windy, rainy and cold 🙁

We can’t get outside to do much so we’re concentrating on fundraising. We want to receive enough money to invest in our projects for the coming year.

We have big plans for 2019:

  • Clearing a few derelict plots and planting them up
  • Involving some more schools
  • Recruiting a few more Friends

…and, of course, enhancing the town with our blooms.

Come on spring – we want to get going!

Sherborne Castle in the Autumn

Sherborne Castle grounds look stunning this year.

Head Gardener Tim Stiles says that this year’s autumn Castle grounds are the best he has seen for at least 10 years – and he should know(!)

The leaves on the trees come in a huge variety of autumn shades, providing a landscape of amazing colours.

Congratulations to Tim and his (small) team for cultivating and sustaining such a marvellous terrain!
